Celebrating Lunar New Year with a Vietnamese family is a heartwarming experience filled with tradition, joy, and togetherness. The holiday, known as Tết, marks the arrival of spring and is a time to honor ancestors, celebrate family bonds, and wish for a prosperous year ahead. This year, Lan hosted 27 family members who enjoyed a festive meal and exchanged "lì xì" (red envelopes) filled with money as a symbol of luck. The house was adorned with red lanterns, flowers, plants, and fruit bowls, symbolizing wealth and good fortune. The children performed dragon dances and the family played games, where winning signifies good luck and blessings from ancestors. The vibrant mix of food, laughter, and games created an atmosphere of warmth and renewal, where both the past and future are celebrated with reverence and excitement! Wishing you all a prosperous year ahead! Chúc Mừng Năm Mớ I (Happy New Year)!
